This kind of plant represents the consequence of company research applied to renewable energy.

Use: renewable energies.

Operation: the water flow descends along the hydrodynamic screw, triggering the rotation of the latter. The rotation is transferred to the transmission and then to the generator with an increased number of revolutions to produce electricity. Finally, inverters prepare the energy produced to be fed into the ENEL network. The power of the system ranges from 50 to 200 kW.

Advantages: the technology used allows the minimum impact on the environment and allows the regulation of waterways, favoring the reduction of hydrogeological risk. The plant allows a rational use of water resource, compatibly with the geo-morphological characteristics of the site and the natural flow of the watercourse.

A series of solutions for the protection of fish fauna, the architectural integration with the landscape, the few civil works to be carried out and the grassing of the surfaces affected by the excavation operations make the entire project sustainable for environmental and public utility.

Assembly: as regards the civil works, the realization is made on site with formwork or prefabricated elements; everything is assembled in the workshop, the system is lowered into the channel previously made and fixed; in the final phase the fixed deflectors are installed on the screw and the protection grates, the system is aligned, the electrical works are finalized and the service room is completed.
